A two-day step-down career service workshop training sponsored by TETFund was organised in the temporal administrative block of Federal College of Education (Technical), Ekiadolor, on the 18th and 19th of March 2024 respectively.

The Provost, Dr. Emmanuel N. Asagha, declared the workshop open. He began by informing staff and members that the objective of the training was for self-exploration, goal setting, planning, and motivating the students towards self-realization.

He further stressed that every member is a potential coach and counsellor.

The facilitators, who were the Ag. Dean School of General Education, Mr. Idada O. Isaac, and the Ag. Dean School of Vocational Education, Dr. (Mrs.) Jimoh-Kadiri S.O., intimated members and staff that the essence of the training is to advise, coach, and counsel students to choose good career paths. They also emphasized assisting students in connecting to captains of industries after graduation through Alumni networks and other useful contacts for their growth and development.

At the end of the programme, the Ag. Dean School of Education commended the Provost for being present at the workshop and also thanked members and staff for their active contributions and cooperation during the training.
