2ND ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR YEAR ONE STUDENTS. .
There was a two-day orientation programme for freshers of Federal College of Education (Technical), Ekiadolor, held on the 20th and 21st of March 2024, respectively. This event marked the second orientation programme since the inception of the institution.
Day One of the Orientation Programme was graced with the presence of the Provost, Dr. Emmanuel N. Asagha, the College Librarian, Dr. T.I. Obaseki, the College Bursar, Mr. Solomon Ediae, Ag. Deans, Directors, and Staff.
In his opening remarks, the Provost welcomed everyone to the programme and acknowledged God for the progress made so far. He further commended the efforts of management and staff.
The Provost advised the students that they are privileged to find themselves in this prestigious citadel of learning and encouraged them to seize every opportunity to make life meaningful for themselves.
He emphasized the need to be productive, stating that if they make good use of their time in school, it will bring blessings in double folds to their parents. Conversely, if they fail to use this opportunity wisely, they will also reap the repercussions in double folds.
The Provost further stressed that their certificates after graduation will be issued only after they have been found worthy in “Character and Learning.” He enjoined students to take their academic work as a priority and avoid unnecessary distractions.
The Chairman, Committee on Student’s Affairs, Dr. (Mrs.) Jimoh-Kadiri S.O., informed the students of the very crucial topics to be delivered to them, which are vital to their conduct and success in the college.
