The Federal College of Education (Technical), Ekiadolor, Benin, on Wednesday, April 24, 2025, hosted a sensitization program by Iwemi Publishing House, a digital platform known for its innovative approach to book, article, and journal publishing.

Held at the 500-Seater Lecture Theatre from 11:25 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the event featured the CEO of Iwemi Conglomerates, Mr. Ejimofor Akah, and attracted academic staff, Non-Teaching staff, student representatives and stakeholders in an engaging and enlightening session.

The event commenced with an opening prayer led by Dr. (Mrs.) Jimoh Kadiri, followed by the introduction of principal officers by Mr. Ken Omoruyi, Acting Director of the Information and Public Relations Unit. Those present included the Provost, Dr. Emmanuel N. Asagha; the College Registrar, Mr. Henry Itedjere; the College Librarian, Dr. Tony I. In his opening remarks, Dr. Asagha emphasized the relevance of digital publishing and urged participants to embrace the opportunity provided by Iwemi to expand their academic reach.

Mr. Akah, the keynote speaker, delivered a compelling presentation on the Iwemi platform, highlighting its global reach, content protection features, and support for authors, particularly educators. A short video demonstration showcased the registration and publishing process on the platform.
