FCET Ekiadolor Signs Landmark MOU with Iwemi Conglomerate to Boost Academic Digitalisation.

In a strategic move to enhance academic visibility and embrace digital innovation, the Federal College of Education, Ekiadolor (FCET Ekiadolor), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Iwemi Conglomerate, under the Retail Development and Investment Company.

The partnership, officially sealed on Friday, April 4, 2025, aims to provide students and staff with avenues to publish academic content for global access and recognition. Among the key components of the agreement are the digital publication of student project works and teaching materials produced by staff, such as journals and textbooks.

As part of the initiative, academic content will be submitted in physical form or on CD by staff and students, while Iwemi Conglomerate will handle the digitisation process to ensure global visibility.

Present at the signing ceremony were the Provost of FCET Ekiadolor, Dr. Emmanuel N. Asagha, accompanied by Principal Officers, Deans, and Directors of the institution. Representing Iwemi Conglomerate was its founder, Pastor V. Akah, along with members of his management team.

Describing the collaboration as “a vital step towards the digitalisation of our academic content,” the FCET Ekiadolor Management encouraged staff and students to take full advantage of the opportunities the partnership offers.

The MOU marks a significant milestone in the College’s commitment to academic excellence and digital transformation.
