FCE (Technical), Ekiadolor Achieves Milestone as NCCE Concludes Accreditation Visit Ekiadolor-Benin, Edo State | October 10, 2025.

Federal College of Education (Technical), Ekiadolor, Edo State, has reached a major milestone as the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) successfully concluded its first institutional and programme accreditation of the college, held from October 7 to 10, 2025.

The exercise, led by,Dr. Salisu Bashir Gwangwazo representing the NCCE Executive Secretary, Prof. Paulinus Okwelle, brought together expert panellists from across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. The team was warmly received by the Provost, Dr. Emmanuel N. Asagha, along with the management, staff, and students of the institution.

In his remarks, Dr Asagha expressed gratitude to God and the NCCE for their support and commitment to quality education, noting that the exercise marks a defining moment in the growth and consolidation of the college. He reaffirmed management’s dedication to upholding the highest standards in academic excellence and professional training.

During the exit briefing, Dr. Hamza commended the college’s impressive facilities, organization, and cooperation throughout the exercise. He described the visit as one of the most orderly and productive he has experienced, acknowledging the Provost and his team for their vision and preparedness.

The NCCE team highlighted the college’s conducive learning environment, well-equipped laboratories, functional library, and strong commitment to staff development. It also encouraged the institution to sustain its momentum and participate in upcoming Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiatives for enhanced skill development and innovation.
